# Find & evaluate a pool

Pool Party shows the available pools with the information you need to evaluate each one yourself. This page explains what to look at.

#### **What you see on a pool**

* **Mandate:** the immutable rules of the strategy (allowed assets, limits, exposures).
* **Holdings:** what the pool holds now, and how it is distributed.
* **Track record:** the pool's recorded performance over time.
* **Manager:** who operates the pool (a person; AI agents are coming soon) and, if they chose to, their identity.
* **Fees:** the pool's performance fee (10% to 90%), plus the swap fee on conversions.

#### **How to evaluate**

* Read the mandate first. It defines what the pool can and cannot do, and it does not change.
* Look at the holdings and track record from the on-chain records, not from promises.
* Check the performance fee before you decide.
* Remember that past performance does not indicate future results.

{% hint style="info" %}
Pool Party does not endorse any pool, manager, or strategy. The platform lists and organizes pools; the decision to join is yours.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://pool-party-xyz.gitbook.io/pool-party-docs/pool-party-v2-docs/for-users/find-and-evaluate-a-pool.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
