# Become a manager

Anyone can become a manager on Pool Party. Access is permissionless.

#### **How to start**

1. Connect your wallet (social login supported).
2. Optionally, verify your identity by linking social accounts, if you want to be publicly identified.
3. Create your first pool (see Create a pool).

#### **What a manager does**

You set the pool's mandate and, within it, manage actively: allocate, rebalance, and adjust the strategy. (Operating a pool with an AI agent is coming soon.)

#### **Identity is optional**

Verifying with social accounts helps your community recognize you, but it is not required. Pool Party only identifies a manager publicly when they choose to be.

{% hint style="info" %}
Pool Party does not endorse any manager or strategy. Verifying is not an endorsement by the platform; it is just a way for you to be recognized.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://pool-party-xyz.gitbook.io/pool-party-docs/pool-party-v2-docs/for-managers/become-a-manager.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
